"To all who come to this happy place, welcome!"

We started this blog to share our love for travel, adventure, and of course Disney! Throughout this blog we hope to give you tips for planning your next Disney vacation, where ever that may be. You may be looking at booking a Disney Cruise, going to Disney World, Disneyland or even one of the other Disney parks. We will review restaurants, shows, resorts, attractions and so much more. Please feel free to comment on any post with questions or anything else you would like to know (this will not only help us out but allow you to join in on the fun :) ). Please remember that this blog is written by a couple. We are a couple who are both in our 20s who love Disney. When you think about Disney’s target audience you think about families with kids, not necessarily any other group but you may be surprised. As part of this blog we will write with the perspective of what you can do as couple when you don’t have kids, but are not quite ready to be considered an adult and give up those childhood rights.
As part of our first blog post, here are our 5 tips to keep the childhood spirit alive (even though you may no longer considered a child)
1. Wear Ears- You may feel like you are way too old to be wearing ears but at Disney this is not true. We wear Mickey and Minnie ears and you would be surprised by the amount of compliments we receive in the parks while wearing them. It also shows you are not too cool to enjoy your vacation and act like a kid again. So on your next trip be sure to pick yourself up a pair of ears. They can be found in every park and even in Downtown Disney/Disney Springs. To add to the fun and make your trip a little more magical be sure to have your ears personalized by getting them embroidered.
2. Ride all the rides- Sometimes we see a ride and think it looks like it is for little kids and their parents. If there is one thing we have learned through our vacations it is that sometimes those rides are the most fun. For example the Barnstormer Rollercoaster in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is geared for little kids however we love this ride and have rode it back to back to back (quite literally!). It is fun to just put your hands in the air and have a good genuine laugh. Look for these “Kids” rides and embrace them.
5. Wear a Disney Shirt- Make sure you take a Disney shirt or buy one there. We are never too old to show off who our favorite Disney Characters are regardless of our age. By doing this it helps you get into the Disney spirit and it makes for some great photos. If you are going with your boyfriend, girlfriend, or spouse try wearing Disney couple shirts like Aladdin and Jasmine or Flynn and Rapunzel. If you’re going with a group of friends trying wearing Incredible shirts or Steven Dwarfs shirts. Show your Disney side and be a kid again!
